Do you remember the last moment in your life when you were totally relaxed and nurtured and cared for? Or has it been a little too long since you received healing and kindness without any judgment of your body or your being?
Did you know there are 32 points on your head which, when gently touched, effortlessly and easily release anything that doesn’t allow you to receive? These points contain all the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and considerations that you have stored in any lifetime. This is an opportunity for you to let go of everything!
Each Access Bars® session can release 5-10 thousand years of limitations in the area of your life that corresponds with the specific Bar being touched. This is an incredibly nurturing and relaxing process, undoing limitation in all aspects of your life that you are willing to change.
How much of your life do you spend doing rather than receiving? Have you noticed that your life is not yet what you would like it to be? You could have everything you desire (and even greater!) if you are willing to receive lots more and maybe do a little less! Receiving The Bars® will allow this to begin to show up for you.
Can you help me with allergies?
Recently allergies and sensitivities to food, environment and chemicals have become major concerns; even the subtle ones are affecting our health. Muscle monitoring is incredible for determining food intolerances or sensitivities. With kinesiology techniques, people are able to monitor what foods their bodies are coping with or not. Specific acupressure points held in a sequence remind the body of correct response and open the channels of elimination.
The body learns to resonate harmoniously with the substance including common foods, specific foods, environmental agents, lectins, scents, hormones, infectious agents and allergens.
Access Consciousness has an immune system correction that has shown itself to be very effective for getting the immune system to function more to its potential, thereby eliminating allergies.
How can I make the most of my session?
If possible avoid eating large or heavy meals, or drinking alcoholic or caffeine beverages directly before or after a session. Allow some time for yourself after the session. Taking a walk is a wonderful way to integrate the changes!
Stress levels have a bearing on a treatment. Some people move forward dramatically from the first session. Others take a few more treatments. Occasionally the changes are subtle. It is important to note that this therapy will assist you at your own pace. Your commitment is an important factor. Recognize that you are the one directing the process.
There are no adverse side effects from a session. The body naturally releases toxins via several possible ways. Drinking plenty of plain water is an excellent way to support this process naturally. The urine may be a little cloudy or darker in colour indicating this release. Taking an Epsom salts bath is soothing and relaxing, it is a very natural way of releasing toxins through the skin. It is also a great way to pamper yourself after a treatment. Use 2 cups Epsom salts per bath (1 cup if you have a septic tank), soak 20 minutes and rinse, before bedtime.
With any therapy we work together for your benefit. Providing feedback from how you responded to your session allows us to assess the frequency of your sessions, the pressure required (as applicable) and the benefits you can expect. If you have any questions regarding the way you feel after a session, please call.
Everyone’s body metabolism reacts differently to a session. It is not uncommon to experience shifts in body energy. When the body is under stress or discomfort, there can be several ways that the body responds including a short period where such discomfort gets a little more acute before getting better. This in an infrequent, but possible, response shared by other natural healing therapies.
I want to live more fully.
We might think that we don’t limit ourselves. However a short look at our language and we can see how we often do just that. I will never….I always…limitations begin with judgement. When we think “It is wrong or bad to” or “I will get hurt if I ever do that again” we hold back from full participation in life. Often the fear based agreements that we make with ourselves can rob us of living with a sense of authentic power, confidence, gratitude and joy. Limiting statements all have our energy attached to them. We must patrol our lives so we never or always do what we have said that we would. That takes our energy too. Eventually our lives become ruled by these limitations. Limitations are conclusions we have reached about something. This keeps us from exploring possibilities and options. Most things in life are subject to change.
What if we were more open to the possibilities of life? What if we chose to rise to our potential, even though we don’t know what our potential is? And our potential at this moment is not what it will be in the future. What would happen if you entered the store you said you would never set foot in again? Spoke to that someone you swore to never again? Or in the case of always, what if you knew you could choose this time, not from limitation but from possibility. It might be different or the same but it would be a choice based on the now not on an event from our past.
Is it possible for others to get along without these limiting beliefs?
Is it possible to do something differently even if that is the way it seems to have always been? Once limitations begin to be released you might be more aware of how many more you actually have! Give Access Consciousness a session or two to see how many you can release.
How sinus congestion can affect our lives
A picture of the sinuses reveals the extensive network of air-filled spaces that lie within the bone structures of the human face. When working properly, the sinuses protect the body from airborne germs, disease and pathogens that would bring infection into the lungs. Natural mucous is produced to protect the inner lining of each sinus cavity.
Common health problems exacerbate the sinus blockages:
- Bacteria – Unhealthy levels of bacteria in the sinuses damage the lining of the noise and block the natural drainage channels.
- Allergies – Particles in the air, such as pollen, pet dander and dust, irritate the nasal tissues and cause inflammation, which results in blockage in the drainage channels.
- Nasal polyps – The presence of polyps in the nasal passages cause blockages that result in extensive sinus issues.
Problems in this delicate system lead to blocked sinuses that become painful without treatment. Traditional treatments have included drugs that dry out the sinuses instead of correcting the actual problem. Constant pain can be the companion of people who succumb to daily battles to find the right combination of medications that will provide relief. Facial sinus massage could provide relief without taking medications that cause drowsiness or other side effects.
What does it mean to live from a place of awareness?
As you read this you may be sitting comfortably in your own home curled up on the couch, standing in the line-up at the grocery store, maybe sitting in the car waiting for something or someone, or perhaps at work just grabbing a minute to yourself during a break. Our lives are made up of such scenarios, and many countless others. Some we give importance to, and they give way for what we perceive as happiness. Others we wish would just go away as they cause us to feel what we perceive as worry, tension and impatience. However, when you begin to really look at what gives birth to these experiences, whether they are perceived to be of great or little value, it is moments. These moments are not ever experienced in the past, or in the future. They can only ever be experienced in the powerful moment of the NOW. However, as you take a moment to ponder at these countless experiences, you will begin to notice that as you are experiencing them, your mind is simultaneously creating a story around them, a story from the past or one of the future.
This is sometimes a difficult concept to understand so I will provide an example. Think of the last 24 hours in your life and pick a scenario to remember. This can be anything. It could be something big and important such as a fight with a loved one, a loss of job, a moment of anxiety from a perceived threat, or something simple such as washing the dishes or picking your kids up from school. Now think back to that moment and try to remember what your mind was doing at this time. Was it thinking something along the lines of “there he/she goes again, why does this happen to me all the time?” (this is focusing on the past) or “I’ve never been good enough to hold on to a good job” (focusing on past failures),“I can’t put up with him/her any longer” (focusing on the future) or along the lines of “ I just want these dishes to be done so I can relax” (again focusing on the future). I am sure that you understand exactly what I am talking about. I am also sure that on some deep level, you know that by allowing the tool of your mind to take you to the past and the present, you are missing the miraculous NOW of your life, for the NOW is the only place where life lives through you. This life is your life energy. This energy exists prior to your form of a human being, and will continue after the form is gone. By denying this energy your awareness of it in the moment of NOW, you are denying your human form – joy. Only your conscious awareness of this life energy can bring you peace. The peace that I know you so very much long for.
No matter what life situation you are struggling with right now, whether it be anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief, parenting issues or addiction, I know that deep inside you (even though you may not be aware of it yet) there is an inner knowing that you are so much more than your “life situation”. The inner knowing that regardless of your “human life situation”, there dwells within you the life energy that is love, peace and joy. The inner knowing that only by conscious awareness of this life energy can you experience a deep sense of love, peace and joy, not just toward yourself, but towards every other being and living thing on this planet. The inner knowing that only from this conscious awareness can you make decisions in regards to your life situation that are rooted from a place of love and peace towards yourself and any others that are involved. Imagine the inner peace and joy of a human life lived from this place.
Who are you?
In my practice as a Clinical counsellor, I often hear the phrase “I just don’t know who I am anymore”. When I ask, as I always do, “Did you ever know?”, I am often met with a far-away look, one that scans a lifetime of moving pictures stored safely away in the recesses of one’s mind. For that fleeting moment, I go on the journey with my clients and imagine them in the roles they are invariably remembering in that instant. The role of child perhaps, being pulled by the force of their caretakers, be it parents, grandparents, aunts, siblings or foster families. The role of teenager, lost in a heap of hormones and excruciating turbulence. The role of student, navigating through college or university, an air of both uncertainty and arrogance about the path ahead. The role of mother or father, thrown into a world of more joy and pain that anyone could have ever imagined. The role of husband, wife or partner, where the lines of love and hate take on a dramatic blur of Machiavellian proportions. Yes, the roles of something or other.
It is in those roles, that the true essence of who we are gets muddled. We navigate through our lives with preconceived notions and judgements of the roles that we play, and we judge ourselves by the standards of those roles. The standards that our parents, teachers, siblings, partners, wives, husbands, children, friends, and co-workers have set up for us. We play the roles of our life, not just for others, but for ourselves. We truly believe we are those roles, just as others believe they are theirs. We therefore never truly meet one another, as we have never really met ourselves.
For some of us, there comes a time in our lives when we are ready to fulfill the function of child, parent, partner, friend and co-worker without identifying with the role that has become the envelope of that function. We are ready to give of ourselves. To give of the self that is rooted in being, as opposed to becoming. Being is what you are, becoming is what you wish to be.

Can you help with addictions?
As a Registered Therapist, I have worked extensively with Addictions. Invariably, when I ask my clients what they desire most in life, without a doubt, they almost always reply that they “just want to be happy”. There is nothing wrong with this answer of course; however, underneath it is a huge fallacy, for happiness is not a state that can ever be continuously present. It is a state that can only be achieved when circumstances around us are in line with what we desire.
Let me give you an example. Imagine yourself at the car dealership buying the car of your dreams. As you are driving it off the lot you revel in how good it smells, the great sound of the speakers as you play your favorite tunes, and the quiet of the engine. In your mind you are already thinking of how you can’t wait to show it to your friends and family and how much fun you will have driving it around. You are feeling happy, excited, and full of anticipation. Then WHAM! As you turn off the lot onto the street, you are slammed into by another driver. You hit your head on the steering wheel and feel the blood running down your face. You are in shock at what has just happened. As the ambulance arrives, you are taken to the hospital where you are told that although your injuries are not life threatening you will have to stay in the hospital for at least a week while you recuperate.
What are you feeling now? Fear, disappointment, and even anger perhaps? But how is that possible? Just a mere few hours ago the car brought you feelings of elation and happiness, so how is it possible that this same event of buying a new car has now turned into feelings of fear, anger and sadness? You see, happiness is fleeting, for it is dependent upon events aligning with what we judge to be positive. Judgements are caused by our thoughts. Thoughts in turn cause feelings. These thoughts can often be unconscious. This is why we are often surprised at our strong emotional reactions to seemingly simple events such as a comment from a friend or stranger, a smell or taste.
The reality is that the simple fact of being human renders us susceptible to feelings of happiness, sadness, anger, excitement, fear, and countless others. Over the course of a lifetime, we will all experience these feelings in some way or another. However, when over the course of a period of time, (this can be anywhere from 2 weeks to years) a negative emotional state persists, the individual begins to feel a state of imbalance.
Going back to the answer of “I just want to be happy”, upon discussing this further with the countless clients that I have worked with over the years, it became apparent that what they desired more than anything was balance. However, when negative feelings — most notably sadness, fear and shame — were disproportionately present relative to feelings of happiness, excitement and peace in my clients’ lives, imbalance occurred.
Individuals with a food addiction feel an unbelievably upset sense of balance. In fact, my clients often use the term “out of control”. They feel that they are controlled by their addiction. However, as my counseling relationship with my clients deepens and my clients establish a sense of trust, they are able to share with me the feelings that they carry inside them that cause them to turn to the object of their desire, which is food, for comfort. Is it therefore the food that is controlling my clients or is it their emotions that have been kept in secrecy for often times years or decades? In fact, the feelings and the resulting behavior of overeating work in conjunction with one another, one fueling the other in a continuous spiral.
With any addiction, including a food addiction, there is a huge association between the addiction and feelings of shame, quilt, low self-esteem and isolation. Shame, in particular, is highly correlated with food addiction, depression, violence, bullying and aggression. People often confuse guilt and shame. Shame is the feeling that results from the belief that “I am bad”. Guilt on the other hand is the belief that “I did something bad”. Shame focuses on the self, whereas guilt focuses on the behaviour.
Shame promotes secrecy, silence and judgement. This is what my clients who are struggling with a food addiction deal with on a daily basis. Shame is one of the most painful feelings a human being can experience because at the core of shame is the belief that “I am not good enough, something about me is so defective that I don’t deserve to be loved”.
As a therapist, I truly believe that exploring and sharing feelings of shame with a supportive non- judgemental counselor can help a person struggling with a food addiction to heal the beliefs they hold about themselves and therefore ultimately lead them to a life of emotional, psychological, and physical health and balance. As Brene Brown, a world-renowned psychologist who has studied shame extensively, states, “if you put shame in a Petri dish, sprinkle some secrecy in there, along with silence and judgement, that shame will grow exponentially”. However, I believe that if you expose feelings of shame in a counseling environment of trust, acceptance and unshakable support, shame can no longer thrive and grow, for that loving acceptance is the anecdote to the shame that binds you.
I applaud the steps that you are taking to take charge of your addiction, for I know that it is not always easy, and feel blessed to be welcomed as part of the team at Your Last Diet Centre. I hope that I may have the chance to meet you and look forward to being a part of your journey to health, well-being and most of all joy.

What do you suggest I have in my first aid travel kit?
Travel kit suggestions: People frequently ask how to stay healthy while travelling. These products are suggestions to take along when travelling. There often is a choice between one product or another. No remedy should be considered a substitute for good medical advice and care.
Acidophilus – taken daily to maintain good bacteria in the bowels. Use twice daily if your bowels are prone to problems for at least two weeks ahead of the trip. Acidophilus needs to be kept cool so surround the bottle with ice in the ice bucket in your hotel room or you may have a refrigerator. Pack it in the luggage that goes under the cabin of the airplane, it is usually cooler than the cabin. A water bottle half filled with water and frozen makes a good ice pack. Double pack the acidophilus and the frozen water in a zip lock bag. Prevention is the key; a healthy bowel is able to fend off invaders better.
R56, a homeopathic formula from Dr. Reckeweg that is especially effective on microscopic parasites. Several drops in a bottle of drinkable water may prevent infestation of many parasites. Taken daily or at the first sign of upset stomach 10 drops 3 or 4 times daily under the tongue. Wormwood capsules taken daily work on larger parasites. If you become infected the treatment needs to cover the 6 to 8 weeks that the eggs present in the body will be hatching. It only takes a day or two and parasites are ready to lay eggs.
In countries where the water is not drinkable, eating raw, unpeeled fruit or vegetables is not recommended. Be certain the water is fully boiled for several minutes if drinking teas or coffee.
Digestive enzymes help digest food that is often prepared in a different manner than we are used to. Helpful for over indulging or that rich dessert that looked so good but did not feel so good. Enzymes are taken with each meal.
Ginger tablets is great for motion sickness. Also avoid alcohol and eat lightly.
Bile flow stimulant, Wild Rose Biliherb, will help to digest fattier meals. Some countries deep fry many of their foods or use a lot of oils. Biliherb will help the bile to flow from the gallbladder to break the fats down to a useable form for the body.
Tea tree oil – antiseptic and mosquito repellent. Can be used on cuts, scrapes, and sore muscles. Apply to exposed areas as a mosquito repellent. Elastic bands around the wrist and ankles, over the clothing will keep the mosquitoes from entering. Also effective for swimmers itch, it can be added to lotion and applied to prevent infestation when swimming. Add a drop or two to shampoo to prevent lice attaching to the hair.
Feel like you always catch something when you travel? Check into your room early and fill a container or the sink with very hot water, add a few drops of tea tree oil. Then leave the room to enjoy your day. When you return the air in the room will be much healthier.
Oh no, you forgot and rinsed your toothbrush in tap water – use vodka or another alcohol to disinfect it before using it again.
Oil of citronella or pennyroyal protects against mosquito and flies too.
Traumeel cream for over worked, tired, achy feet or muscles like we get at Disney Land or hiking. Effective for bug bites, it takes the inflammation down quickly. Calendula cream is also an anti-inflammatory.
Oil of Oregano is effective for sore throats, colds and flu, chest and sinus infections, ear infection, some parasites and food poisoning. It is a natural antibiotic that also is anti fungal and antiviral. It is a disinfectant, analgesic (painkiller), anti-inflammatory and speeds healing. It also works for swimmers itch.
Lavender oil is helpful for anxiety and soothing to help getting to sleep. Also acts as a bug repellant. Can spray the bedding for bed bugs.
Colloidal or Ionic Silver is excellent for sunburn and upset stomach. It has disinfectant properties. Add 1 tbsp to your washing water for fruits and vegetables.
Grapefruit seed extract works on everything from athlete’s foot to disinfecting your toothbrush. Ear infections, yeast infections, food poisoning and some parasites. Must be diluted.
Charcoal capsules – absorb toxins. Tummy aches after eating, gaseous bowels, food poisoning; several capsules of charcoal will absorb and remove the offending material as a solid. Not to be used on a regular basis as it absorbs nutrients as well.
Rescue Remedy can be used to help cope with everyday situations and especially helpful in stressful situations. It can also help in times of crisis or trauma such as bereavement, a relationship breakdown or changed travel plans. Rescue drops can be applied to the surface of the skin during times of stress, taken under the tongue (4 drops per dose) and added to a bottle or glass of drinking water. The cream formula can be rubbed on bruises, bug bites, sore muscles and the hands for stress.
Common sense goes a long way when travelling. Washing hands frequently, using bottled water and eating in establishments that wash fruits and vegetables in potable water. Even using the same brand of bottled water will create ease for the body and drinking plenty of water will go a long way to maintaining health. Rinsed your toothbrush in tap water? Use vodka or another alcohol to disinfect it before using it again.
Jet Lag Bach Flower Remedy – This combination helps you adjust to the time change and with the physical tiredness and impatience that comes from sitting in a plane for hours. Start taking this combination a couple of days before the flight and continue while flying and afterward until all symptoms are gone. Olive: Helps you over the physical exhaustion of traveling and being on the road for several hours. Walnut: Helps you adjust to a new time zone and place. Impatiens: Helps you from getting impatient while sitting in a plane for several hours without much to do.
Yours in good health, Diane Wiebe
Can you help me manage stress?
Stress release is what we are all about. Physical, mental, emotional, chemical, environmental and behavioural stress are things which cause our problems, and the area where these techniques have their greatest effect. Various stress release techniques are combined with emotional balancing, affirmations, visualization, massage techniques and movement exercises. Stress release of past trauma frees a person to get on with his or her life and can bring about positive changes in people.
Do you want to feel this much JOY again?
Maybe you feel versions of these:
- angry and defensive and you don’t know where it is originating from.
- taking out your frustration on others when you really want to be loving towards them.
- resentment towards your past because you aren’t seeing new results yet.
- fearful and doubt yourself that you are capable of moving forward in your life.
- emotions that enrage you inside and you feel disconnected from why you feel this way.
Isn’t it time that we all bring our unique ‘peace’ of the puzzle to the table and create a masterpeace woven together out of all the strands that we individually have been given?

The more you use the tools combined with your awareness, the more ease with change and the more change you can create in all areas of your life.
Access shines a light on those areas in life where most people have swept the good, the bad, the ugly under a carpet or shoved it in a corner for no one to see, including them.
Most people feel the effect within a session and that feeling of lightness and ease grows from there.
Access Consciousness Bars is a unique way of releasing limitations. Through light touch on head acupressure points it is possible to release and clear the fixed points of view we hold in different areas of our life and in our body. Areas such as money, sexuality, creativity, body, healing, awareness, joy, sadness, aging and more… What would it take for you to have more ease, joy and glory?
Hypnotherapy Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool for change as it can access the subconscious part of one’s mind and create permanent changes in one’s thought patterns, feelings, emotions and/or behaviours.
During a session one can become deeply relaxed and peaceful. Hypnotherapy is a heightened state of awareness for the sub-conscious mind which is induced through relaxation and is different from everyday awareness.
During the hypnotherapy process one often gains insight into the origin of problems within various levels. Finding and releasing that initial trigger, which may have caused mental or bodily discomfort or illness, negative habits and/or undesirable behavior is the focus of the practitioner.
It can stand alone or improve the success of other treatments for many conditions, including:
- Phobias, fears, and anxiety
- Sleep disorders
- Post-trauma anxiety
- Grief and loss
Specialized Kinesiology provides the tools and language to assess and describe the performance of the biocomputer. The focus of this work is better health, more aliveness, enhanced self-esteem, ease of learning and a deeper connection within.
Profound changes can occur when the patterns of the bodymind are addressed through the emotions. Emotional Freedom Technique and many other kinesiology techniques address emotions.
Specialized kinesiology may be for you, if you desire more:
Clinical Counselling is the use of clinical mental health counselling values, principles and methods for the purpose of assisting clients to understand their issues and concerns. As a result, the client’s understanding promotes and enhances their self-growth, personal effectiveness, interpersonal relations, life adjustments, spiritual growth, and mental health. A deeper understanding of their issues and concerns also guides clients to develop insight into how to prevent and eliminate maladaptive behaviour or symptoms. In addition, this understanding enhances healthy coping styles and strengthens the relationship with self and others.

What is Vibrational Medicine and how can it help me?
Vibrational medicine is the alternative approach for the 21st century. Alternative practitioners have been exploring the effects of energy on the body for thousands of years. Now, science is studying the subtle vibrational patterns of the mind, recognizing that mental and emotional thoughts affect the body’s ability to heal. Vibrational Medicine offers a simple, practical solution for releasing the blocked pathways to wellness. The subtle yet powerful vibration of behavioral patterns and thoughts within the mind directly affect the ability of the body to heal. Science recognizes that thoughts are a chemical reaction within the brain called a “neuropeptide”. It was believed to only affect the mental or emotional mind. Now neuropeptides are found throughout the whole body. Vibrational medicine offers a solution for the release of behaviors, misconceptions, and negative thoughts, opening our conscious mind to effect change in our daily lives. Through the use of vibrational patterns within nature, you can bring together a powerful tool chest. Bach Flower Essences are a vibrational product produced from the essences of flowers. Dr. Bach studied extensively the effects of the individual flowers on the emotional body. The individual flower essence has a vibrational pattern that allows the body to release stored emotions; unresolved issues are recognized and cleared. Homeopathic remedies are the vibrational patterns of herbs, plants, trees, and chemicals. The elixir becomes stronger with each dilution. The vibrational patterns activate the body’s ability to balance and stabilize itself. This facilitates the body’s ability to heal. Vibrational medicine recognizes the subtle vibrational patterns of nature, human and plant. Science now knows that we are surrounded in a sea of vibrations. Our goal in the journey to wellness is to sort through the sea and find the best vibration to bring health and happiness to our lives.
How sabotage plays a role in our well-being.
Sabotage can be more powerful than a person’s desire for health, happiness or success. Sabotages are those glitches in life where we have a desired goal but cannot achieve it. A sabotage is a belief system that is no longer currently suiting us. For example, a child is taught not to talk to strangers. When as a teenager, he/she decides to apply for a job or make contacts in business the old belief system becomes a hindrance or block to achieving the goal. We might have created beliefs from our observations, as a child, of our parent’s behavior that no longer apply to this place and time. We are seldom aware of our sabotages, clearing them allows us to get on with our life. Meridian end points are used to activate the new desired belief. These points can also be used to activate affirmations.
How do you describe Holistic Health?
Holistic health is a system of medicine that supports the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of a person. It views health as a state of wholeness, balance and vitality, not as the absence of symptoms and disease.
The holistic approach works hand-in-hand with conventional allopathic medicine as a complement to treatments recommended by a medical doctor.
There are many holistic therapies, both old and new, such as herbal medicine, bodywork, energy healing, nutrition, homeopathy, naturopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, Ayurveda, yoga, kinesiology, Yuen and so on. Among all of the modalities that we offer, the promotion of wellness and the prevention of disease are a priority. A holistic health practitioner recognizes the uniqueness of every individual and tailors each treatment to meet a person’s needs.
We encourage clients interested in holistic health to educate themselves about their condition and to set in motion their own body’s ability to heal itself.
